Description

Sometimes it's better for a protein to be digested slowly: indeed, consumed before or just after training, a fast protein such as " Whey " is preferable.

But for the rest of the day, or at bedtime, a micellar casein-based slow protein such as 100% Casein Gold Standard can cover amino acid requirements for several hours.

Casein proteins are sensitive to pH and the acidic environment of the stomach. As a result, it can take twice as long for caseins to be reduced to their amino acid sub-components compared withWhey or other proteins.

Because of these unique "time-release" qualities, caseins are considered to be anti-catabolic, or muscle-protecting, proteins.

This is an important factor for bodybuilders and athletes who train intensely and want to regenerate their muscles, prevent muscle breakdown and reduce recovery times between sessions.

Directions for use
