Its carbohydrates come from maltodextrin and fructose, combined in an optimal ratio of 1:0.8. Maltodextrin, a form of glucose, is used directly by the muscles, while fructose is processed by the liver: this combination increases the amount of carbohydrates the body can absorb per hour of exercise.

Designed for endurance athletes during workouts and competitions lasting more than 2 hours, it should be consumed at a rate of 1 to 3 bars per hour—either whole or cube by cube—on its own or in combination with Beta Fuel drinks and gels.
